This multi-wavelength Picosecond ND YAG laser can chip away at most colours - with the exception of white and almost always yellow/orange (although sometimes we get lucky that there's another component within the ink and it responds!)

With eyebrow tattoos, the composition of the inks used varies hugely across ink brands and because of this, laser tattoo removal of these is rather unpredictable. We will know more about the likely outcome and course length at your patch test. If they respond well and fade to grey/nothing - you have a short journey ahead of you! If they turn orange - you may have a few more sessions ahead of you. They can even turn from orange to black (and be removed from there). We will guide you through the process the whole way.

The laser delivers extremely short pulses of light energy into the skin. This energy targets the tattoo ink beneath the surface..

The ink absorbs the laser light and breaks it down into tiny fragments. Once broken up, your body’s natural immune system gradually removes these particles over the following weeks.

Because this is a natural process, tattoo removal happens gradually, not instantly. Each session lightens the tattoo further, allowing the skin time to heal between treatments.

Many things effect patient suitability so please get in touch with us if you have any questions. However, as a guide:

·We can treat all skin types.

·As long as the tattoo isnt white or 100% light pastel colours it is worth having a patch test to see what we can break down with the laser

·We cannot treat some medical or skin conditions eg immunodeficient clients may need a dr note. Any history of skin cancer may make you unable to have treatment but please get in touch before booking to check.

·We can't treat you if you're pregnant, breast feeding, or are under 18.

·We are unable to treat you if you are anything other than your base colour. That means no active tan or fake tan!

We only ever treat clients after a patch test, so if you're unsure, please book a Laser tattoo removal Patch Test, and our specialist can run through everything with you and check your suitability. Patch tests need to be carried out at least 7 days prior to treatment (14 days if taking certain medications).

Every tattoo is wildly different. We can estimate more once we have patch tested the tattoo.

Tattoos furthest from the heart EG the foot will typically remove very slowly as the movement through the lymphatic system is very slow from there.

Deep, densely packed tattoos will also take longer than bitty, broken down, faded tattoos.

Your practitioner will go through expected number of treatments with you at your consultation.

Laser tattoo removal is certainly not comfortable however we use a cooling device alongside the laser to make it as comfortable to erase regrets as possible.

Some areas are more "ouch" than others, we will take the time needed if you requite breaks. We can also operate at a high speed to get it over and done with very quickly if you prefer.

You may also arrive to your appointment pre-numbed (purchased from a pharmacy) however please note this can add sessions to the overall treatment plan as it acts as a barrier.

Do a small routine patch test to check your skins response to the laser

Skins with an active tan (suntanned within last 4 weeks) or ANY fake tan present can not be treated or even patch tested under any circumstances. There are also some cautions we must take with tattoos, birth marks, scars, and other visible skin lesions.
